About Me

My early career was in government specialising in international trade and investment, providing advice and support to companies with their growth strategies. The last 25 years have been spent building and transforming not-for-profit organisations involved in the international promotion of London, with the objective of creating jobs for Londoners.  This includes 15 years in senior leadership roles focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of organisations, by leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams and developing a culture of high performance.

At a time when I felt personally and professionally stuck, working with a coach was transformative in helping me recognise the imposter syndrome that was holding me back in my career and impacting on my personal life.  The coaching helped me build my confidence, improve my work/life balance and to feel fulfilled and in control of my life and career.  Since then, I have used a variety of coaches for support at key moments in my life.

As well as being a coach, I am a trustee of Thames Festival Trust – an arts and education charity, a governor of a local school, a mentor to founders of start-ups and sing in a choir.  I also enjoy the theatre, cooking and going on very long walks.
